In a recent interview with GameRant on June 27, when quizzed about implementing a trading system into The First Descendant, the developer Minseok Joo revealed, "We're working on the trading system and how to give things away as well. We're planning on implementing it once the service stabilizes to the point where we can add it."

However, it's essential to keep expectations minimal regarding The First Descendant trading system. The chances of it being as generous as Warframe’s seems slim. The reason for this lies in the identity of The First Descendant’s publisher.

The Role of The Publisher

Nexon, The First Descendant's publisher, is renowned for developing MMORPGs with tendencies towards pay-to-win models, such as Maple Story. The likelihood of them introducing a trading system as fair as Warframe’s appears minimal. These circumstances suggest maintaining caution in presuming the scope of the upcoming trading system.

While it's likely that they will permit players to trade components, consumables, and other items, it's better to stay reserved when it comes to other aspects. There's a chance we could be pleasantly surprised, but for now, it's all speculation and patience.
