Changing Your Character in Once Human

If you're unsatisfied with your character's look in Once Human, but too far into the game to start over, there is a solution: the use of a Chrysalis Token to modify your character's appearance.

It's important to note that this is a premium feature, and the token must be purchased with real money, making it less than ideal for some players. However, if you're willing to shell out a bit of cash, changing your character's appearance is simple and effective.

Obtaining a Chrysalis Token

To purchase a Chrysalis Token, start by pressing the "Esc" key to open the main settings menu and enter the shop. From there, click on the "Other" option, and you'll find the Chrysalis Token available for purchase. Each token costs 480 Crystgin, which equates to around $7-8 per token. Unfortunately, there is currently no method for obtaining a Chrysalis Token other than through purchase.

Using the Chrysalis Token

After acquiring a Chrysalis Token, you can use it to change your character's appearance by constructing a Floor Mirror in your territory. This doesn't require any special steps to unlock; simply press "B" on your keyboard to open the build menu. From there, proceed to the Furniture tab, choose Furnishing Items, and select the Floor Mirror. For the mirror, you will need to have 20 logs and 10 glass in your inventory.

As long as you have your Chrysalis Token in your inventory, you can interact with the mirror to re-access the character creator and completely overhaul your character's look. It should be noted that the token is a one-time-use item, so choose wisely as you design your new appearance to avoid additional purchases.

Although it might seem like a hassle, having the ability to change your character's appearance without starting a new game is a valuable option for dedicated Once Human players who desire a different aesthetic for their character.
