Introduction and General Information

The latest update for 'Manor Lords,' version 0.8.024, continues to enhance your in-game experience, focusing largely on bug fixes, balance tweaks, and new features such as Bridge Building, New Maps, and More. The patch notes highlight a broad list of changes from minor on-screen issues to major gameplay elements.

Furthermore, the Manor Lords executable may be flagged by antivirus programs as a "false positive". Major Changes and New Features

Among the many changes 'Manor Lords' brings, the significant ones include reworking Cliff systems and changes to Worker Restrictions for Stalls. Cliffs and their traversability are now more distinctly visible. When it comes to stalls, only storage building workers can set up marketplace stalls now, resolving confusion about inventory and ownership.

The marketplace also sees various improvements, from the introduction of Marketplace UI updates to Inventory Grid Widget Optimization, which makes it easier to manage trading, supply capacity, and inventory. A new experimental approach changes how food is consumed, with families now trying to consume all foods equally.

New Features have been added, including two new maps named High Peaks and Winding River. An ‘Overstock’ option allows you to control the number of extra goods in storage. Stone wells can now be upgraded to provide more water supply. The tavern level-up feature, along with a visual overhaul, promises to make the player experience richer.

The update adds a balanced pass on building and upgrade costs, encourages resource diversification, and adjusts business operations. Significant adjustments include Ale and Water Distribution Changes where ale and water are now distributed similarly to marketplace items. Changes to taxation, worker assignments, direct supply usage, and crafting have been introduced to add clarity and streamline the gameplay.

The update also tweaks the pathfinding logic and navigation, reducing instances of units 'falling off' the bridge. It introduces useful fixes like limiting Tithe goods only to be collected from Granaries to avoid additional market supply fluctuations.

Minor Changes, Bugfixes, and Other Adjustments

Minor changes address issues around unit ground collision, building access, and pickup location randomization among others. Entailing a series of bug fixes, the issues from Brigand's behavior, pathfinding on Winding River, and retaining animations of units are all fixed in this update. It addresses livestock traders importing dead animals as well and introduces a "Construction Goods Missing" banner.

Performance optimizations have been made across static collision checks, UI updates, and market demand calculations. The bug fixes also address audio and sound tweaks, along with some cosmetic changes.
