Black Ops 6 Season 1: Discover New Weapons and Gameplay Enhancements

TL;DR: Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, launching on November 14, features an enticing lineup of new weapons, including five firearms and two melee options. Players can unlock levels, attachments, and camos for these weapons, enhancing their gameplay experience. The Krig C assault rifle, a Battle Pass reward, combines high damage with versatile range performance. The Saug SMG returns with excellent mobility but requires attachments to manage its high recoil. The Maelstrom shotgun offers rapid fire despite its power limitations, while the AMR Mod 4 sniper delivers heavy hits but suffers from slow aiming. The Sirin 9mm serves as a specialty secondary weapon. For melee fans, the Power Drill offers rapid attacks but requires two hits, whereas the Butcher Knife delivers one-hit kills with moderate attack speed.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 Unveils an Array of New Weapons

The eagerly anticipated arrival of Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 promises to provide far more than fresh weapon options. Beyond the introduction of omnimovement and new operators, the season offers an impressive array of maps, perks, and more. However, the highlight of the CoD experience lies in the weapons, presenting the most alluring aspect of the upcoming season.

Exploring the New Arsenal in Black Ops 6

The new weapons to be featured in Black Ops 6 are seven in total—five firearms and two melee weapons. Each weapon comes complete with levels, attachments, and camos that players can unlock, offering an engaging grinding experience shortly following the launch of the new CoD.

The Lineup of Season 1 Weapons in Black Ops 6

Black Ops 6 Season 1 is on track to debut on Nov. 14, promising players a considerable assortment of weaponry across the game’s first season, including a brand new AR, SMG, sniper, shotgun, and more.

The Krig C, a fully automatic assault rifle, reigns supreme with high damage and average handling. The recoil starts very controllable before ramping up over time. To garner this weapon, it is a Battle Pass reward. Its performance across multiple ranges renders it versatile and robust.

Among this assortment, the Saug SMG, a fully automatic submachine gun known for its excellent mobility and good handling, makes a return. Players can enhance this weapon's impressive hip-fire capabilities with the appropriate attachments to cater to its high recoil.

The Maelstrom, a fully automatic shotgun, displays good range and handling but also high recoil and a large hip spread. Activision suggests that its rapid-fire full-auto capabilities compensate for its lack of power compared to other shotguns.

The AMR Mod 4, a semi-auto sniper rifle, is classified as “the hardest-hitting weapon in its class,” but comes with a slow aim and hard kick.

Season 1 also marks the introduction of the Sirin 9mm, a fully automatic specialty weapon that mirrors SMG characteristics as a secondary weapon.

For melee weapon enthusiasts, the Power Drill and Butcher Knife offer unique styles. The Power Drill, a two-hit kill, short-range weapon, is marked by a very fast attack speed. The Butcher Knife, on the other hand, is a one-hit kill, short-medium range weapon with a medium attack speed.
