As the Black Ops 6 live content gets into top gear, Activision is leaving no stone unturned to make sure season one is a show-stopper. The latest release in the Call of Duty series will see a significant update, introducing seven new weapons, a range of new operators, and a battle pass, amongst others from November 14. Multiplayer fans, however, are in for a better treat as season one will roll out six new maps throughout its tenure.
An Insight into New Mexico Maps in BO6 Season 1
Season one of BO6 promises a rewarding gaming experience to its enthusiasts, providing six new maps. On its very first day, three out of the six maps will be readily accessible, promising a visually engaging journey. The remaining ones are saved for the mid-season, which includes a rehashed version of a fan-favorite from Black Ops 4.
Discover Each of the New Maps
The new maps encompass three with their own unique playing modes. Season one debuts with "Hideout," a medium-sized map that provides a stirring milieu of a training site. Competing teams can anticipate multilevel indoor warfare set at different vantage points inside vault and blueprint buildings. On the same day, players are introduced to the second new map, "Heirloom," a small map set inside an art exhibit. It is the first of two small maps that the Face Off Moshpit playlist targets for its Strike map type. Also, available from day one is the "Extraction," another medium-sized map that takes the action to a heliport by the sea. Players can either choose to take control from a height overlooking all the action or mingle in close quarters along the loading docks.
Mid-season Bonanza
Mid-season will witness the unveiling of three more maps. “Hacienda” is a reincarnation from Call Of Duty history that brings players back to a picturesque vineyard estate. Offering extensive room for open-air maneuvers in the luxurious interiors, it provides an opportunity for long-range battles. The other mid-season release, “Racket,” throws players into a nail-biting bank vault heist. With an underground bank vault as the battleground, players would be confronted with tight corners and enclosed spaces that tests their senses and strategy-making skills. For the holiday break, the developers have revamped the Nuketown map to a wintry theme, aptly naming it "Nuketown Holiday." This map is expected to launch in the first weeks of December, adding a festive touch to the gaming experience. These meticulously crafted arenas promise to take the thrill of the game up a notch and keep you on your toes throughout the season.
