Epic Games Unveils Fortnite Chapter 6: Godzilla Takes Center Stage

The much-anticipated Fortnite Chapter 6 update by Epic Games promises an exciting gaming landscape with the introduction of Godzilla. The latest expansion of the popular battle royale game is due to launch on December 1.

An Exciting Season in the Land of the Rising Sun

In a thrilling series of events, Chapter 6 introduces players to a new setting inspired by the country of Japan. The looming presence of Godzilla is an intriguing new dimension to the game's Japan-themed world. This season's trailer gives a glimpse into an array of other Japanese-themed bosses, novel weaponry including samurai swords, and mainstream characters like Baymax from Big Hero 6.

Amid the fantastic features coming to Chapter 6, Epic Games has also relayed changes in the price model of the Fortnite Battle Pass. This marks the debut price increment in the standard pass, which will now cost an additional 50 V-Bucks, bringing the total to 1,000 V-Bucks. Fortunately, the real-world value of V-Bucks remains static, while the price of the 25 Battle Pass Reward Bundle observes a slight reduction.

Gearing Up for Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 – Season 1

Just ahead of the Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 – Season 1, slated to take off on December 6, players are already experiencing a whirlwind of surprises surrounding Chapter 6 updates. A trailer revealed through social media offers a sneak peek into the new map and parkour mechanics.

The latest island features a massive mountain mimicking Mt. Fuji and a Giant tortoise resembling Chaurli in God of War. The map's simple yet modern building architecture enhances navigation, provides a monorail, and countless zip lines connecting the buildings.

Chapter 6 Arms Players with New Weapons and Abilities

Players now have the thrill of climbing and vaulting across walls, and there is a range of new weapons at their disposal, such as katanas. Still, these may barely suffice when dealing with the mighty kaiju, Godzilla. As shown in the official teaser introduced in the season's announcement, Fortnite Hunters might well feature Godzilla and other Japanese characters as its world bosses.

Shrouded in mystery, the new Fortnite island emanates a unique aura, with its name believed to be "Oninoshima," and the gripping trailer's description encouraging players to "become a Ronin" in chapter 6. Additionally, players have every reason to anticipate encounters with a face and hands demon, a samurai as bosses, and a variety of playable characters, including the new slime-like creature, the first design of its kind for Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 6: A New Dawn Approaches

With global Fortnite gamers eagerly waiting, Fortnite C6S1 Hunters is set to roll out on December 1, following six to eight hours after the finale of the Fortnite Remix. Given such a schedule, new content should be available by 3 am in PT time zone and 6 am in ET time zone. Meanwhile, Fortnite remains playable across PC, mobile, and console platforms.
