Helldivers 2: Dominate the Illuminate with the Urban Legends Warbond Pack

TL;DR: The Urban Legends Warbond package for Helldivers 2 equips players with cutting-edge arsenals for urban combat against the returning Illuminate invaders. This update introduces the melee SQC-19 Stun Lance, the SH-51 Directional Shield, and the stationary E/AT-12 Anti-Tank Emplacement and A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry for strategic and heavy-duty firepower. To enhance versatility in warfare, the Armed Resupply Pods boost defensive capabilities, while the SR-18 Roadblock and SR-24 Street Scout armors offer speed and protection with the Siege Ready feature. New capes, camo patterns, and emotes reinforce the Helldivers' fighting spirit, supported by additional Super Credits for unlocking abilities. Available now, this package ensures Helldivers are prepared to secure urban territories.

Helldivers 2 Urban Legends Warbond Package Launched, Equipping Helldivers For Illuminates Encounter

The latest reinforcement package for Helldivers— the Urban Legends Warbond — has been unveiled. This new package has full authorization from the Ministry of Defense, arming players to combat the feared resurgence of Illuminate invaders. The package is available and accessible to all Helldivers right from today!

An Arsenal Optimized For Urban Warfare

Whether it's swamp, desert, or tundra-based warfare, the seasoned Helldivers have shown their prowess in wielding the finest weapons effectively. However, to adequately deal with threats when they encroach on their urban terrain, it is essential to equip them with a tailor-made arsenal.

In view of this, the Urban Legends Premium Warbond package will include the new SQC-19 Stun Lance, the first melee secondary weapon designed for close-encounter battles in cramped and narrow city streets. An excellent complement to its strategic use is the SH-51 Directional Shield Stratagem – allowing you to maintain the optimal offensive stance while adequately defending yourself.

Another exciting addition is the E/AT-12 Anti-Tank Emplacement—a heavy-duty weapon designed to release an onslaught on the toughest of Illuminate Harvesters. As a stationary firearm, Anti-Tank Emplacement demonstrates its efficacy in tight, city environments, democratizing firepower like never before.

Urban Legends Warbond Further Equips for Diverse Tactical Situations

For scenarios where Anti-Tank Emplacement isn't enough to handle a swarm of Voteless, the A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry will come in handy. This stationary turret armed with a flamethrower effectively disperses a crowd of invaders. However, users should exercise caution: if its red ammo canister comes under attack, the turret will self-destruct and cause substantial damage to its surroundings.

The Armed Resupply Pods booster, another new addition to the Warbond, offers assistance from a top-mounted turret. This extra firepower helps cover your retreat to ammo drops, as long as you are mindful of stray shots.

Armor choices for Speed and Defense

The Warbond package also includes the SR-18 Roadblock heavy armor and SR-24 Street Scout light armor. The Roadblock armor, with its impressive Spartan-style helmet and shoulder pads, equips you to take the brunt of the battle. On the other hand, the agile Street Scout armor enables quick movements for street fights.

Both armor sets come equipped with the Siege Ready passive feature, significantly enhancing your primary weapon reload speed and ammo capacity.

Furthermore, the package includes two new cape designs — the Greatcloak of Rebar Resolve adorned with an expansive skull emblem, and the asymmetrically shaped Holder of the Yellow Line cape. Both sporting a brilliant gray and yellow scheme, blend seamlessly with either armor set.

Additional Boosters under Urban Legends Warbond Package

To demonstrate the relentless spirit of the Helldivers, a "This is Democracy" emote has been included in this package. The Urban Legends also features accompanying player cards for the new capes and a new set of urban camouflage patterns dubbed Concrete Jungle.

This new pattern set can be applied on your hellpods, shuttle, and exosuits, with a particular inclusion for the upcoming FRV model. Also, just like preceding war bonds, this package comes with ample Super Credits to unlock additional players' abilities.

The release of the Urban Legends Warbond reassures the denizens of Super Earth that their streets will once again be safe from the Illuminate threat. So, gear up, Helldivers, let's reclaim our cities with Urban Legends, now available for all.
