Sony Reveals PlayStation Plus Games for December 2024
Sony has announced its line-up of PlayStation Plus games for December 2024, packed with intriguing titles aimed to please both new gamers and veteran joystick jockeys. This release reveals added surprises, aligning with the broader PlayStation 30th anniversary festivities.
Slated Games for PlayStation Plus Members
The games, namely It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem, are scheduled to be rolled out on December 3 for PlayStation Plus members. The titles will remain accessible until January 6, thereby offering fans plenty of time to immerse themselves in these new worlds.
Hazelight Studios’ It Takes Two is a cooperative platform adventure. This unveiling is a tactical strategic move, given that the developer has hinted at the disclosure of its forthcoming game. The game has its fair share of acclaim, praising its imaginative, exhilarating co-op adventure crammed with creativity.
Aliens: Dark Descent, a creation of Tindalos Interactive, is a real-time tactics game established within the Alien universe. The game has earned remarks such as a thrilling, mesmerizing survival horror RTS, despite recapitulating on a few persistent technical bugs.
The creature-collecting MMORPG Temtem, a product of Crema, draws inspiration from the popular Pokémon series. Temtem serves as a daring yet evolving MMO that presents innovative ideas for propelling the monster-catching genre.
PlayStation 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Along with these notable titles, Sony will offer a game trial of Saber Interactive’s third-person melee/shooter Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 to PlayStation Plus Premium members from December 3 as part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations.
Moreover, three classic PlayStation games, Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves by Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog’s PS2 adventure Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy will be made available from December 10 for PlayStation Plus Premium members.

In addition to the above, Sony has announced a free online multiplayer weekend from December 6-8, allowing gamers to enjoy their favorite games' online multiplayer features without needing a PlayStation Plus membership.
