    The last game I played was Fortnite not too long ago. Played some Fortnite Festival and tried out the new songs and played a few games on battle royale, got my second win of this season 🙂

    Video games can have both positive and negative effects on mental health. When playing video games in moderation, can help your mental health greatly but if you let video games consume your life and you become addicted, you will find that your mental health can be effected negatively. Always best to balance video games with other things you enjoy to help your mental health.

    The last game I played was Fortnite Festival last week for a few hours. Been so busy with New Year and getting back into a routine that I haven't played in about a week now.

    I have played Lego Fortnite a few times since it was released back in early December and will admit, to be able to just sit and chill out on a game such as Lego and it be open world is very relaxing and chill. I am hearing we are getting an update soon which will introduce weapons so I am excited for that 🙂

    I always remember if we got a console for say Christmas, it would be one to share with my brothers and we would have to take it in turns. Lending and borrowing games from friends was always something we did quite often and it was a lot of fun also going round to friend's houses to play games we did not have access to.

    I would like to believe that it is ready to handle cloud gaming but knowing the issues we have had in the past with the internet doing basic functions, I know that when more start to use cloud gaming, the internet will struggle. It will be possible but not without issues at first.

    I played Fortnite Racing when it was first released and found there was quite a bit wrong with it. Fast forward to a few nights ago when I played and they have fixed so much and it is a lot of fun to play now. If you have not played it recently, I would recommend it since they fixed a lot of things.

    I remember when I was younger this used to happen a lot, I would lose saved data on things such as memory cards and it was such a pain and frustrating. I am thankful that everything is now on the cloud and backed up on the cloud as it eliminates this issue.

    I did notice this and did wonder why they never released it with the ability to have split-screen play. I remember years ago, Fortnite had the split screen function for their battle royale but I believe it was discontinued. Would be nice to see split split-screen for the Lego mode for those who have younger children who enjoy playing 🙂 I have been playing Fortnite Lego and it is a great game to sit and chill out on, do need to find some more time to play more but it's definitely a hit for Fortnite.

    For those who are big PlayStation fans, I would think they are very excited to hear details regarding the PS5 Pro. I am not a big fan of PlayStation so it is not something I would pick up but it will be exciting to see what they will announce for the PS5 Pro.

    I don't mind remakes as long as it is a game that others want to see as a remake. An example would be The Simpsons' Hit and Run or The Simpsons' Road Rage, both of which, gamers have wanted to see remakes of but nothing yet. I am all for remakes if it helps the developers stay in business.

    Agreed, at least for now the only place you have been able to play games is either on your Xbox console, on your PC or on your phone which hasn't always been the greatest. I believe this may be the start of Microsoft and Xbox bring their Game Pass service to more devices, exciting times!

    Do let us know when you manage to play it 🙂 I was super excited to play it myself but rage quit not too long after. Some have lasted playing on the game for a while so it is possible if you have the patience 🙂

    This is amazing news. I have just bought a Meta Quest 2 for my kids for Christmas, they have been asking for one for a while and now it seems they will have access to so much more as well 🙂

    The last time I played Cuphead was back in around 2018. I remember getting so frustrated playing it that I ended up rage-quitting and have not been back on it since. I still have access to the game as I bought it digitally but up until now have not been back on it.

    The Big Bang Live Event and Eminem Concert have happened in Fortnite and what an amazing experience. I heard that 12,000,000 players managed to get into the event but many more were left out resulting in Epic Games and Fortnite having to do a rerun of the event for those who missed it. We are now still waiting for Chapter 5 as the servers are down for some but this season and chapter are looking amazing so far! Definitely will have changed the gaming world! What were your thoughts on the event?

    Now you can, it would seem that in the leaked Chapter 5 trailer, we have been able to see that walking whilst drinking is very much coming to Fortnite and I would imagine many of us are super stoked about that! No more getting sniped whilst drinking shield!

    It would seem it has happened again, a whole day before we jump into Fortnite, Chapter 5 we have a Chapter 5 trailer leak! Not going to lie, this looks insane! Are you excited?

    I had heard this and I too am very excited to hear more about that. The fact that it is going to be one of their most expensive games to develop yet, makes me believe we may be in for some surprises when it is released 🙂

    I did wonder if we may see something The Walking Dead related come to Call of Duty at some point. Would make sense with zombies being back in Call of Duty that we would see something from a popular zombie TV show.

    The more I hear about MW3 from people the more I am tempted to try it out just to say I have tried it and given it that shot. It may be something I do once I have finished working through the battle pass on Fortnite and completed that.

    With so many leaks flying around at the moment for Fortnite including leaks regarding the Fortnite OG finale event, it has been difficult to keep up with it all but it is also adding excitement for the end of Fortnite OG and the beginning of Chapter 5. A new game mode called Festival will be making its way into Fortnite on December 9th 2023 which is a rhythm game mode. You can either play as a team or solo and you choose between guitar, bass, drums or microphone so very similar to Rock Band. So far the collaborations announced are as follows: Lady Gaga - Pokerface Linkin Park - Numb Toto - Africa Imagine Dragons - Thunder Alice Cooper - Poison Fortnite Music Packs I don't know about anyone else but I am super excited for this mode. Will you be playing the Festival Mode when it releases?

    I would have never believed this had you told me five years ago that we would be seeing Eminem in Fortnite but today, this has become a reality. We will be seeing Eminem come to Fortnite as part of the Fortnite OG finale event along with three skin variants which are a Slim Shady variant, a modern-day Eminem and also a Magma version that you will receive for being part of the OG finale event. This is amazing news for those who are an Eminem fan. You can take part in the Fortnite OG Finale Event on 2nd of December 2023 at 2pm EST (7pm GMT) Will you be jumping into the finale event?

    I am always on the lookout for new mobile games to play but usually can not find any worth playing when I look, probably because it is usually a quick look before I get busy again with other commitments. I thought it would be good to have a thread where we could share new mobile games we have found so others could check them out. Have you found any new mobile games recently that you would recommend to others.

    Something I learned about a while ago was Bluestacks when my kids found out about it and started using it on their PC to play mobile games on PC. Since I found out about it, I have used it on and off to play games that I find easier on PC to play than I do on mobile. Have you used Bluestacks to play mobile games on your PC?
