The First Descendant: Comprehensive Guide to Boosters
The First Descendant is all about grinding for better gear and stronger Descendants. The process revolves around leveling up and farming for a large number of items and in-game currency. To ease and accelerate the grind, players can utilize Boosters. This guide provides detailed information about Boosters in The First Descendant.
What are Boosters?
Boosters are limited account-wide perks in The First Descendant that augment your overall Gold, XP, Weapon Proficiency, and Kupier Shard Gain. Essentially, Boosters expedite your leveling up and farming process. Boosters, however, are not mandatory and only offer you with a 30 percent increased gain. Boosters can last from one to 30 days and can stack, meaning you can use multiple at once and reap the benefits for a longer duration.
Acquiring Boosters
There are several methods of obtaining Boosters in The First Descendant:
- Buy them with real money
- Claim them from the Premium Battle pass
- Get them as rewards via Promotions
Purchasing Boosters
Buying Boosters is straightforward. Open the shop, choose which Boosters you find useful, and check if you have enough Caliber. If you are uncertain about which Boosters to choose from, the game provides bundles that contain all of them at a lowered price (cheaper than purchasing them piece-by-piece).
Boosters from Premium Battle Pass
If you own the Premium Battle pass, the game offers Boosters as rewards for leveling up. These typically last for only one day, and it’s not obligatory to claim them immediately after unlocking.
Rewards and Promotions
In some instances, you can earn free Boosters by claiming Twitch Drops, Prime Gaming rewards, or through promotional codes. In fact, The First Descendant occasionally provides two compensation packs containing all four types of Boosters.
Using Boosters
After obtaining Boosters, they tend to automatically apply to your account. However, when you purchase or receive Boosters in your mailbox or the store mailbox, you need to manually select and claim them. You don’t have to utilize your Boosters immediately after obtaining them, which is beneficial if you aren't planning to play The First Descendant for a few days. However, be aware that Boosters have an expiry date, particularly the ones received for free.
