Once Human: Can you delete your character?
Once Human, after its beta test and Steam Fest demo, has finally been released to the public. The game, developed by NetEase, has quickly grown in popularity, offering plenty of learning opportunities for players. As players progress, they may decide to restart with a new character—incorporating all the knowledge they've gained—leading many to question if it's possible to delete their existing character.
Unfortunately, at this time you cannot delete your character in Once Human. That being said, changes may be implemented in future updates to facilitate this feature.
Multiple Characters in Once Human
While currently character deletion is not an option, Once Human does allow for the creation of multiple characters without needing a new account. Another key feature available is the ability to change your character’s appearance.
Server Shuffle in Once Human
One thing to note is that Once Human does not currently support server changes. So, if you're located in a different server or region than your friends, you may face challenges. Nevertheless, you can still join your friends, provided you meet the game requirements—otherwise, you can simply create a new character on the same server as your friends.
This rule was formulated to maintain a balanced gameplay. Different servers could be at different phases in the game. Allowing players the liberty to move a fully-equipped character to a new server could potentially overshadow novice characters and disrupt the in-game balance. However, world changes within the same server are allowed.
Detailed Information About Playing Once Human
To sum up, while you currently cannot delete your character in Once Human, you have the flexibility to design multiple characters and alter their appearance as per your preference. The game's framework also ensures a balanced player experience, eschewing server changes but permitting world changes within the same server.
