Basics of Once Human Blueprint Conversion System
The Blueprint Conversion System introduced in the Once Human game serves as a tool for gamers to fully upgrade their gear enhancements, a move that is particularly beneficial for players keen on min-maxing their gear. Essentially, the system allows you to switch enhancement levels between gears of the same rarity while preserving experience points. In order to adapt stars for optimal builds, one needs to carefully select the right gear and employ the conversion button strategically.
Understanding the Once Human Blueprint Conversion System
The Blueprint Conversion System has been added as part of the Way of Winter expansion in the Once Human game, along with other gameplay elements such as temperature management. Despite being a focus of conversation among player communities, the blueprint conversion system, a method of achieving impressive damage numbers, continues to generate some confusion.
The Blueprint Conversion System enables you to take any chosen weapon or gear to its highest possible enhancement level without incurring additional costs. Precisely, the stars you see on your blueprints represent the potential enhancement levels that can be achieved by infusing blueprint fragments into your blueprints.
The principle is simple; the larger the star count, the greater the HP and PSI intensity you receive from your gear. This rule applies equally to weapons, which get escalated base damage.
Mechanics of the Blueprint Conversion System
Before you commence moving stars to other blueprints, it's essential to have a clear concept of the build you wish to use. Owing to the constraint on conversions, it’s not feasible to maximize every element at once.
Higher blueprint ratings are more suitable for elemental damage builds as they scale with your PSI intensity. Physical damage builds, however, are more reliant on their core gear effects and thus, can be balanced with the PSI intensity.
The system dictates a few important rules - It recovers 2 attempts weekly with a maximum limit of 10 attempts, each swap requires an attempt, only swapping is allowed rather than combining two blueprints enhancement levels, you must own a blueprint to exchange it, and original items retain their EXP with only the enhancement levels (stars) being replaced.
Instruction for Enhancing Blueprints
The process of manipulating the stars is straightforward and uncomplicated: press 'I' key, navigate to the Blueprints tab and click on the Blueprint conversion system on the right to launch the Blueprint conversion system menu.
Initiate the process by choosing the weapon or armor with the maximum stars. Then, select the gear you want to transfer stars to and use the conversion button. Once the process is finished, you will be able to see the stars on the final item.
Post completion of the process, one can proceed to the gear bench to fabricate the respective gear parts. It’s suggested to use a gear bench that offers a durability bonus for better durability of the items. After you have swapped the enhancement levels, remember to recreate the blueprints whenever you enhance them since the gear or weapon in your inventory won't receive the enhancements automatically.
