Welcome Back Quest in Once Human: Securing the Festering Gel
One of the quests that you will come across in your journey through Once Human is the "Welcome Back" task where you are asked to secure the Festering Gel. This task is remembered from the initial stages of your journey in Once Human but might have been overlooked while you continue your adventure, fighting against supernatural creatures and restoring the world. Fortunately, securing the Festering Gel is simple and straightforward.
How to Secure the Festering Gel
The procedure of securing a Festering Gel is by placing it inside an Isolated Securement Unit. You need to have this unit at the center of your base, where you also safeguard the Butterfly's Emissary that you got at the start of the game. The task of securing the Festering Gel can be easily accomplished if you and fellow players join forces. You have the option to replace your Butterfly with the Festering Gel or to create a new Isolated Securement Unit to keep both.
As you progressively unlock more Deviations while playing Once Human, having more than one of these units is beneficial as it helps you access more powers and critical combat buffs.
Crafting a New Isolated Securement Unit
To create a new Isolated Securement Unit, you need to collect certain resources:
- 20 Metal Scraps
- 15 Copper Ingots
- 10 Glass
Metal scraps can be found by exploring various locations in Once Human. In contrast, copper ingots and glass can be crafted at your base using your furnace. Once you possess all these resources, proceed to the build menu, and under the facilities tab, you can find the Isolated Securement Unit under the function facility tab. Now you are ready to install it anywhere within your base and store the Festering Gel, ready to be used at any point during your future Once Human playthrough.
