Servers in Once Human: An Overview
In Once Human, servers are segmented into individual units known as 'worlds'. The primary purpose of this division is to avoid congestion and enhance the user experience. Interestingly, the game facilitates world-hopping, allowing players to switch between worlds without any significant difficulty. Upon logging into the game, players are randomly placed into a world. This can result in friends getting placed in different worlds. But fret not, changing worlds in the game is quite straightforward, and here is how it can be done.
Once Human: How to Switch Worlds
To switch worlds in Once Human, players need to use an in-game feature known as the Teleportation Tower. Interacting with this Tower lets you select your preferred world to travel to. However, before you start using the Teleportation Tower to your advantage, you must unlock it first.
If the main questline is followed immediately upon initiation, you should be able to unlock the Tower within the first 10 to 15 minutes of starting the game.
Starry Studios and the World Selection
Starry Studios has ensured a varied player experience by offering around ten worlds to select from. After exiting your pod and mastering the art of crafting survival supplies, you will be assigned the task of a Level 5 Siren defeat. Once you've conquered the monster, you will be transported to the town of Dreadsville, which houses the critical Teleportation Tower for unlocking.
These towers are easy to locate as they are represented by Radio Icons on your map. Additionally, if you look up into the sky, you should see a blue light beaming up. Simply follow the direction of these lights, and soon, you will find a Teleportation Tower.
Can You Switch Servers in Once Human?
While switching worlds is an available option in Once Human, switching servers is not. Once you've finalized your character, you are permanently assigned to that server. Any chance of server hopping would only be possible if the developers decide to implement a feature in the future allowing server changes.
