Relocating Your Once Human Territory
The relocation of your Once Human territory can be beneficial for gaining easy access to resources or reducing travel time to mission-critical areas. Despite the simplicity of the relocation process, it isn't explicitly explained within the game, so here's a guide on how to do so.
Starting The Relocation Process
Firstly, you need to navigate to your desired relocation area. Begin the moving procedure by launching Build Mode by pressing the B key and then the Z key. This action triggers the appearance of your entire territory denoted by a white mark encompassing all your installed structures and furniture like garages for your Once Human motorcycle and other vehicles.
Finding The Ideal Location
If your base structure is highlighted in green, it indicates a suitable site for relocation. Site appropriateness is registered when clicking on the preferred location. However, if your structures are highlighted in red, relocate to a terrain that is free from main roads and is flat. You will not only find this location suitable for the territory but it also provides ample space for you to expand and unlock more structures as you progress in Memetic collection and resource gathering. Locating your territory near Once Human high demand ore nodes can facilitate a smoother gaming experience, especially during the early gaming stages.
Placing Territory and Cooldown Period
Upon placing your territory at a suitable location, a warning message appears intimating about a 10-minute cooldown period post-territory placement. This cool-down period is there to ensure you have placed it in the correct location. The warning message also provides the energy link cost of the move and sheds light on the relocation of furniture and facilities into your Territory Terminal's Vault for future retrieval and deployment. However, most of the facilities might remain intact after the relocation. Confirming the move will immediately activate your base in the new location.
