In a seasonal revelation, Infinity Ward and Raven Software herald the commencement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 06, cryptically dubbed “The Haunting,” set to unfold across all platforms from September 27 at 9 AM PT.

    Spawn®: The Hell-Cursed Anti-Hero

The spectral fabric of Al Mazrah and Vondel is set to quiver as the underworld anti-hero Spawn®, makes his formidable entry this season. He is on a daunting mission to exterminate the enigmatic Dark Ritual Operators, who've opened the sinister Hellmouth, unleashing a torrent of monstrous entities and imbuing the atmosphere with an insidious terror that even permeates the crimson canals of Vondel.

“The Haunting” marks the resurgence of unspeakable horrors, ranging from shambling undead to ghastly creatures, enveloping the worlds in a consuming shadow. This sudden invasion stems from the machinations of the clandestine Dark Ritual Operators, who seemingly unearthed and unveiled the terrifying Hellmouth.

Players, deemed as Operators, are tasked with delving into “Operation Nightmare,” putting their mettle to the test against the unsightly invasion of abnormal entities unleashed through the Hellmouth.

    Event Commencement & Featured Content

The mid-season onset of “The Haunting” is slated to introduce players to Halloween-centric maps, gaming modes, and a plethora of eerie events across both gaming interfaces. A detailed roadmap providing insights into the diverse range of haunting activities is anticipated to be released shortly before mid-season on October 17.

Furthermore, the season debut proffers four innovative Multiplayer maps, and a trove of new Operators and Weapon Blueprints unveiled through the Battle Pass, ensuring a spine-tingling and combative experience right from the launch.

Patch Notes are projected to be available prior to the release, shedding light on various gameplay aspects, courtesy of the collaborative efforts of renowned development teams such as Activision Central Design, Activision Localization Dublin, Beenox, Demonware, High Moon Studios, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch, among others.

Echoes of the Underworld: A Hellish Encounter

As the ominous shadows of otherworldly creatures extend over Al Mazrah, plunging it into an unrelenting darkness, the gaming community eagerly awaits the unfolding of this terror-stricken chapter.

Ya, a surprising number of maps were part of this, so that is exciting. I might even give it a go as I have been pretty burned out of CoD lately.
