Do you still play Fall Guys?
Fall Guys has been free-to-play now for nearly a year and at the start, many people jumped on to play it and it has been a lot of fun to get involved with. I don't hear nearly as much now as I used to though about Fall Guys and it got me wondering if it was still as popular or if the novelty has now worn off. Do you still play Fall Guys? I haven't played it in a while but I may jump on again at some point to check everything out.- fall guys

How are you liking Lightfall?
Lightfall has been out now for a few weeks and many people have been playing through it. So far the reviews seem good but have anyone here played Lightfall? If so, what are your thoughts on it at the moment? I and my eldest son went half on Lightfall as he wanted to play it and so did I, he has his Xbox set as my home Xbox so he can have access to Lightfall that way. So far he is enjoying it. I am yet to jump on and play it but hopefully, I will be able to soon. -

How much do you spend on game's yearly?
Not a whole lot. I grab CoD and Battlefield out of habit and now I stick with Destiny and whatever lands for it all year. So I am generally well below $500 a year, but it can vary. -

Minnesota RØKKR's Bold Move: Benching Attach and Betting on Fame for CDL Comeback
The Minnesota RØKKR is gearing up for a dramatic roster overhaul in the wake of their underwhelming performance at the 2023 Call of Duty League's Major Three cycle. In a surprising move, the organization has benched former 2015 CoD world champion Attach, replacing him with rising star Kevin "Fame" Bonanno. Signed as a substitute in July, Fame will now join forces with Afro, Bance, and Cammy as they prepare for CDL Major Four. Minnesota's rollercoaster journey saw them clinch a third-place finish at the CDL's second Major of 2023 in Boston. However, their fortunes took a downturn as they faltered in the online qualifying matches for Major Three, culminating in a crushing defeat by the Los Angeles Thieves. The RØKKR now find themselves grappling with an eight-match losing streak. Fame faces the unenviable challenge of stepping into the popular Attach's shoes while also working to turn Minnesota's fortunes around. Currently, in eighth place in the CDL Points standings, the RØKKR is just 20 points ahead of the ninth-place Vegas Legion. With only the top eight franchises securing a spot at the year-end CoD Champs, every upcoming match is crucial to Minnesota's postseason dreams. Minnesota coach Loony emphasized the team's commitment to remaining competitive throughout the season, stating, "The first step is bringing in Fame. We're going to continue to evaluate the team throughout this stage after the home series and if further change is needed, we will be making it because again we want to be competing for championships." Fame's CDL debut is set for April 1, when the RØKKR take on the Florida Mutineers in their first qualifier match for Major Four. The team's fans and the entire CDL community will undoubtedly be watching closely to see if this roster shakeup can provide the spark Minnesota needs to reignite its competitive fire and vie for the coveted championship title. https://twitter.com/ROKKR/status/1640777767628206080?s=20 View full article -

Steam Bids Goodbye to Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, Ushering in a Modern Gaming Landscape
As the clock ticks down to January 1, 2024, Valve prepares to usher in a new era for Steam, with the gaming client announcing its plans to discontinue support for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. Players with these older systems will need to embrace a more recent operating system to continue enjoying their favorite games. This bold move comes on the heels of recent Steam upgrades, which introduced a more streamlined UI experience on desktop. While the decision to phase out support for older Windows versions may be bittersweet, only 2% of Steam users rely on these systems, according to last month's Steam hardware survey. With newer games no longer compatible with Windows 7 and 8, and Microsoft halting support for these versions in January 2023, it was only a matter of time before Steam followed suit. Valve addressed the change in an official announcement, stating, "As of January 1, 2024, Steam will officially stop supporting the Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 operating systems. After that date, the Steam Client will no longer run on those versions of Windows. In order to continue running Steam and any games or other products purchased through Steam, users will need to update to a more recent version of Windows." The shift is attributed to Steam's latest features relying on Chromium—an embedded version of Google Chrome that is incompatible with older Windows systems. "In addition, future versions of Steam will require Windows features and security updates only present in Windows 10 and above." The company's strategic move aims to allocate resources toward supporting cutting-edge operating systems, rather than maintaining outdated ones used by a dwindling number of players. As Microsoft gears up to sunset Windows 10 support in 2025, Steam users may anticipate a similar withdrawal in the foreseeable future. With 62% of Steam players operating on Windows 10, this eventual transition will undoubtedly impact millions of gaming enthusiasts. View full article -

Do you still play Animal Crossing - New Horizons?
Animal Crossing - New Horizons is a game that very much gives me COVID-19 lockdown vibes as I remember it was released right at the beginning of the pandemic. This game was one I bought with my birthday money as I love the game and I knew it would help to pass the time spent indoors when we had to isolate. I still play it every now and again but I will admit that I haven't played it in a while due to being so busy. Do you still play Animal Crossing - New Horizons? -

How much do you spend on game's yearly?
Being that a lot of the games I play now are free-to-play I don't tend to spend as much money on new games each year as I used to. I would normally buy the new Call of Duty every years until that started getting stale and then I stopped buying it then there would be times that I would buy games if I had seen one that I was interested in but that doesn't happen so much now. This year I am looking to get Hogwarts Legacy and then possibly the new Just Dance later in the year so we are talking probably less than £100 for me this year. I tend to spend more now on in-game purchases such as for Fortnite or even Destiny 2 when I have the chance. -

Have you played Tetris 99?
Tetris 99 is like a battle royale game but it is Tetris and you have to be the last person standing during a game of Tetris to win. I have played this a few times and it can get really addicting especially when you are trying to be the number one and the winner. Unfortunately, I have not managed to win a game of Tetris 99 but I have come close one a few occasions. Have you played Tetris 99? Have you ever won a game?
