TL:DR - Riot Games revealed updates for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) season in 2024. Changes include a new league in China, new venues for global events, and modifications to the esports calendar. The new season will start in January, with Masters tournaments in March and May, VALORANT Champions in August, and VALORANT Game Changers in November. The Challengers leagues will be divided into three segments, each ending in playoffs. Instead of a season opening event, individual tournaments will determine seeding for VALORANT Masters Madrid. The Challengers leagues will have innovations like the Team affiliate system, loans, and a new in-game mode called "Premier". New teams will join the Partner Team leagues, and a point system called Championship Points will be introduced.
