Carolina Royal Ravens Withdraw as Hosts

The Carolina Royal Ravens have decided to step down from hosting duties for the fourth Major of the Call of Duty League 2024 season. This decision comes as a result of various factors, leading to a significant change in plans for the event.

Shift in Venue and Format

With the Carolina Royal Ravens no longer hosting the Major, Activision has announced a shift in venue and format for the event. Instead of taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Major will now be held in Burbank, California. Additionally, there will be no live audience for the event, as it will be played behind closed doors.

Rescheduled Dates

Due to the changes in venue and format, the schedule for the Major has also been adjusted. The event has been delayed by a week, with the first week of qualifiers now set to take place from May 31. The main finals are scheduled to occur from June 27 to June 30, providing teams with adequate time between Majors.

This marks a significant shift in plans for the Call of Duty League 2024 season, impacting both the location and audience participation for the upcoming Major event.
