If you're still wondering and confused about the first raid to play in Destiny 2, I would kindly recommend starting out with playing Deep Stone Crypt. It's one of the most fun and beginner friendly raid you can play in the game. If you succeed in the raid, you will get a chance to earn the Eyes of Tomorrow exotic rocket launcher.
