No I don’t. I played the game briefly when I had a Nintendo Switch but I rarely played on my Nintendo Switch and ended up selling it with games included so I didn’t get the chance to play much of Animals Crossing. It was a fun game to play though.

For the fact that the Nintendo Switch is the only handheld console which I'm open to playing video games on more often, that's why I still give some playing time to Animal Crossing - New Horizons. Although, there are some other games I play more on the Switch console like Hades.

I’ve played so many fighting games so it’s hard to narrow it down and choose only one but if I really had to pick only one I would choose Mortal Kombat. It’s everything you want in a fighting game. A masterpiece.

Mortal Kombat is definitely one of the best fighting games ever made. I had to good time playing it as well. I still managed to get my hands on Street Fighter 6 on Steam for $59.99. It was an interesting game. It was 100x better than Street Fighter 5.

Definitely Hogwarts Legacy. It is the ultimate Harry Potter game and for anyone that has watched Harry Potter, it is a must play! Great game.

Yeah, that's very correct. I eventually managed to purchase Hogwarts Legacy last year around mid year. I have already completed it but I kind of rushed playing the game which means that I would still have to replay it again at least one more time.

Wireless! Surely everyone’s preference is wireless? It gives you the flexibility to be able to move around or sit further back whereas with wired you can only move so far.

Yeah, that's very correct. Most gamers have upgraded from using wired controllers to using wireless one's for playing their video games. The flexibility of using wireless controllers is what makes it feels so good. You don't have to be confined into one position to play like how wired controllers forces you to.

The realm of first-person shooters (FPS) has given us countless classics over the years, each contributing to the genre in its unique way. To get a new perspective, we posed a question to an AI: "What are the top ten all-time FPS games?" Here's what the AI came up.

    1. Half-Life 2 (Valve)
Not only a technical marvel when it was released but also a game-changer in terms of narrative and environmental storytelling in the FPS genre.
    2. DOOM (1993) (id Software)
Often hailed as the granddaddy of FPS games, it laid the groundwork for the genre and introduced many to 3D gaming.
    3. Counter-Strike (Originally a mod for Half-Life, later acquired by Valve)
Its competitive gameplay set the stage for future eSports titles and remains a benchmark for team-based shooters.
    4. Bioshock (Irrational Games)
Recognized for its atmospheric world, deep narrative, and blending of FPS with RPG elements.
    5. Quake (id Software)
Another groundbreaking title from id Software that introduced full real-time 3D rendering and is considered the precursor to modern eSports.
    6. GoldenEye 007 (Rare)
A seminal console FPS that proved the genre could work outside of PCs and introduced many to multiplayer shooter gameplay.
    7. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Infinity Ward)
With its gripping campaign and addictive multiplayer, it ushered in a new era of modern military shooters.
    8. Halo: Combat Evolved (Bungie)
Revolutionized FPS gameplay on consoles, offering an engaging story and introducing the beloved Master Chief.
    9. Wolfenstein 3D (id Software)
Often credited as one of the earliest FPS games, it paved the way for titles like DOOM.
    10. Titanfall 2 (Respawn Entertainment)
Blended fluid pilot combat with mech warfare, offering one of the most critically acclaimed single-player campaigns in recent FPS history.

Do you agree with this list?

Are there games you'd rank higher, lower, or replace altogether?

What are your personal all-time top FPS games?

Share your picks and tell us why they deserve a spot in the FPS hall of fame.

Personally, this AI's isn't that bad in my opinion because most of the games are great. There are just few of them I would replace which are ; GoldenEye 007 with Team Fortress 2, Halo: Combat Evolved with Halo Reach, and Wolfenstein 3D with Battlefield 1942

Right now I would say VR gaming is better than AR. I’ve played VR games and had a great experience but I haven’t had the chance to play an AR game. Both have a lot of potential so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah, that's very correct. Both of them definitely have something to offer gamers in terms of how they play through experience with the games they are involved in. Although, I also believe that the kind of games someone is playing would determine if VR or AR would be the best for such games.

The last game boss I beat was Vex on Sackboy. It was a while ago but I haven’t completed a game in a while 😛 It wasn’t too difficult in my opinion.

It's nice to hear that you've managed to beat Vex on Sackboy. For me, it's the Hogwarts Legacy's final boss Ranrok Dragon that I had to deal with as one of my latest boss to kill. Although, it wasn't an easy fight because there wasn't a direct approach to killing the dragon as even casting the spell of Avada Kedavra was ineffective on the final boss.

I will admit that I do like the creative side of the game but at the moment or at least the last time I checked the game a few weeks ago, it seemed as though they were only offering the base modes, a limited-time mode and then 3 creative modes that had been created by players for you to play. I had hoped that we would get to see it like it is in Fortnite where all creative games would be available to play. I hope they do make that an option.

Yeah, I would have hope they had done the same thing Epic Games did with Fortnite by making all the creative games mode available to be played at will. This would have given gamers more freedom to play because that's what these creative mode brings to the table.

I've only played Black Flag and Valhalla and I really like Valhalla. The Vikings setting is pretty amazing to me. Never did finish the game, however.

The level of adventure in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was part of something that made me love the game so much among all the other Assassin's Creed games. Playing as the main character being a pirate first, and an assassin later brought so much to the game's storyline.

The Sandbox I am talking about is not the genre but the game itself. The Sandbox Game I am referring to is a game just like Roblox and Minecraft where you can build and craft. The only difference is monetization. The Sandbox Game allows you to monetize your gaming activities. You collect NFTs and Crypto tokens that you can sell for fiat currency.

Being that I'm not the kind of gamer who's interested in monetizing my video games playing activities, it's the reason why I haven't been interested or willing to go into playing Sandbox Games like Roblox and Minecraft heavily. I just gave them a try when they became very popular to know what playing the games feel like and that's it.

  11. Well for me when it comes to microtransactions being used in video games, I would say that anyone who's interested in playing free video games shouldn't complain or nag about microtransactions used it such games. This is because that's the way such game's developers make money from their games. If you don't like microtransactions used in games, stop playing free to play games and switch to AAA games.

  12. Yeah, I do believe that buying of video games with banknotes or cash will soon be scrapped by most gaming stores. It's going to start with most online stores that also have physical stores. Time will come when they are going to make their video games sales 100% paid online through online card payment or cryptocurrency.

  13. Cryptocurrency is one of biggest trend in the world right now especially when it's something that's related to finance and money. This is why most businesses are now open to accepting cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, USDT and other coins as a means of payment. It's a very good development for gaming online stores to accept cryptocurrency payment.

The Resident Evil games are good, so is Dead by Daylight but my favourite horror game was actually The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I thought it was great.

Resident Evil franchise by Capcom have been one of best games when it comes to horror genres. I recently completed Resident Evil 4 : Remake which isn't that bad.

I haven't played this The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. What's the unique thing or feature about the game?

Plague Inc might be something that fits the virus side of it, but I have no idea about any games that feature toilet paper fights due to a virus 😅.  This would actually be a pretty neat DLC for a SIMs game.  Granted, it might be a bit out of taste due to all the people that died from the virus.

I will be checking out this Plague Inc to see what kind of similarities it brings in with respect and relationship to COVID.

Covid: The Outbreak would have being the game that filled in that purpose but unfortunately it was rushed to the market for a quick money grab which didn't do justice to the game.

  16. Actually, they use such set ups to lure some people into buying those video games and it does work for most part of it. I have given them a trial once or twice which felt good. Although, it's never been enough to convince me into buying anyone of them immediately.

  17. Well, I can only say for myself when it comes to video games that I would believe to be very good at it. There's always a possibility of someone being better than you in any particular game no matter how good you think that you are. I would say that I'm quite good with Halo Reach because I played it more than other Halo games.

The Rumble Pak is a removable device from Nintendo which provides force feedback while playing video games. This is standard in controllers nowadays but back in 1997 it was an amazing new invention. Did you ever have a rumble pack? What did you think of it back in the 90's and early 2000's?

I remember when it came out and it was amazing!!!! My cousin had an N64 and got the rumble pack right when it was released. We were blown away.

How would I forget about The Rumble Pak? I had one when I was still younger. I used memory card for mine and I had this exact same colour. Mine is still somewhere parked in my closet.

  19. Years ago, it's definitely difficult to create or develop video games. But now, even though it's stool difficult to develop games but some platform like Roblox have made it easier to create/develop some games. Personally, I'm not interested in doing anything of sort. It's not my things, so I'm staying out of it.

  20. Personally, I don't have much interested in playing mobile video games but if I'm forced to choose, I would go for android games. They are way more better than IOS games and there are more games on android platform than IOS. The only game I'm playing on my Samsung Galaxy S21 is Top Eleven Football Manager.

Definitely not. Prices are rising and good free-to-play games are becoming rarer. The future is paid, not only in terms of gaming but also life in general. It’s sad but it’s reality.

This is exactly what I believe too. There are so few free to play video games that can be rated as a very good A game. Most of them are just average games dumped with tons of aggressive microtransactions. Paid games will always be way ahead of free games.

I don't get why people keep shoving out money for Madden games, there is barely any changes from the last game and yet people keep on buying it.

I would say that it's habit mate. It's just like what's been going on with Call of Duty franchise. The game haven't been any good for years and the last game showed the developers have nothing left to offer but does it stop those fan base to keep buying the game? It kept dragging for the best selling game with Hogwarts Legacy last year.
