I have both a gaming laptop and a gaming desktop, but I prefer to use my desktop. It's newer and has better specs than my laptop does. My spouse can use our gaming laptop if we ever end up playing the same games together.

Nintendo has been a household name for decades at this point, and usually tops the charts when it comes to number of units sold. (Well depending on the console of course. :P) Out of all the Nintendo consoles and handhelds, which is your favorite and why? Mine is hands down the Gamecube, it was the first Nintendo console I got brand new for Christmas of 2004. I loved playing Mario Kart Double Dash, Timesplitters Future Perfect, and The Sims 2 with my cousin growing up. I know it's not one of Nintendo's best selling consoles, but I've always liked it better than their other consoles, including the Wii. (Even though most models are backwards compatible with the Gamecube.)

The Jaguar was Atari's last brand new console, it was made to compete against the PS1 and Saturn, but most games are more in line with the Genesis and Super Nintendo. A few games on the console made their way to other platforms like Rayman and Doom, but it did have it's share of exclusives. I never played the Jaguar myself, they're super expensive to buy these days since it was a failed console. A few games look interesting though, so perhaps I'll get around to trying them on a emulator.

The only mobile game I play daily is Pokemon Go. At the very least if I can't leave the house to spin Pokestops, I catch Pokemon and send gifts to my friends pretty much daily. I'm at level 40, it's going to take me a bit to reach level 41 for sure. I used to play Sonic Dash as well as Sonic Runners, but I haven't played Dash in a long time and Runners has been removed and no longer works unfortunately.

As someone who prefers to have physical games over digital ones, I'll skip over this new model. I'm still wanting to get a Series X eventually, so I can replace my Xbox One S. It looks much cooler than the original Series S though, I prefer the color black to white myself.

Mega Man is my favorite Capcom franchise! I have so many awesome memories playing Mega Man 8, Mega Man X4 and Mega Man Legends as a kid. They're my favorite titles in the series as well too! Street Fighter is a cool series too, even if I suck at fighting games lol. I never really played much of the Resident Evil games, I'm more of a fan of Silent Hill. They also published my favorite Clock Tower game, Clock Tower 3.

If you grew up playing the Sega Genesis, which game on the console is your favorite of all time and why? Sonic 3 and Knuckles IMO is the best game on the system, and it beats Sonic 1 and 2. There's just no contest, sure it didn't sell as many copies as the first two games, but it wasn't packed in with a console like the first two games were. Everything that Sonic 2 brought to the table was improved, the game has multiple layouts for each character, the music is amazing, and Sonic's sprites look the best in Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It's a must have for any Genesis owners, and everyone should play it at some point.

Pokemon hands down is my favorite Nintendo franchise. It was the franchise that got me into Nintendo, I was a Sega kid growing up. My favorite generation of Pokemon is Gen 3, and I love Emerald version. I remember the first Pokemon game I was ever able to complete my dex in was Ruby. I also love Generation 5 and I think it gets too much hate. I've been playing Pokemon since 1999, and Yellow version was the first game in the series I played. My least favorite generation is Gen 4, I thought Diamond and Pearl were too short and they downgraded my favorite feature added to generation 3, secret bases. Are there any other Pokemon fans here? 😄

Hands down it's definitely Dark Souls 3. It took me 15 tries to beat the first boss, and then I kept dying at the next part of the game. I haven't played the game since, I would like to go back to it at some point when I get more time but it won't be any time soon.

Most of the games I enjoy playing are retro games, so I own quite a few different ones. The oldest console I own is my model 1 Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive everywhere else in the world.) It's a refurbished one by Sega too, and I haven't had any issues with it. The LED won't turn on all the time, but that's very minor. I also own a Toploader NES, SNES, 32X, Sega CD, N64, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Original Xbox, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, 2 Game Gears, 2 Model 2 Genesis, one other Model 1 Sega Genesis and Gameboy Advance. (I refuse to call the Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii as retro. 😛 I own a Xbox 360 and PS3 too.)

What's up everyone my name is Ravenfreak! I'm a 33 year old guy who's been playing video games since 1994, Sonic the Hedgehog was the very first game I ever played on the Sega Mega Drive. I also enjoy playing Mega Man, Pokemon, Tomb Raider, and Final Fantasy. Other than video games I enjoy posting on forums, and I also like to modify the classic Sonic games on the Master System too. I also enjoy watching cartoons with Teen Titans being my favorite cartoon of all time. It's great to be here! 😄
