    I have a fairly decent collection of games. Some I actively sought out, and others is because I don’t get rid of my old games.

    If I had kids, I’d either restrict them, or do research on why the game is M rated. Though that’s when they’re in elementary school, and by the time they’re in junior high, it’s like whatever, they’re gonna find out eventually.

    It has to do with it being powered on and then off quickly, and the reason why you did that, was because the pins were dirty and you didn’t get a startup screen.

    All of my consoles were shared, except the handhelds. We had our own.

    Parts of America still can’t handle it. I can’t imagine less fortunate countries can.

    It’s mostly happened to me on cartridge games. The game doesn’t read when you power it on, and then you quickly power it off, and and back on, then it erases your save data.

    LED’s are all preference, so while I personally think the Christmas tree setup is gaudy and obnoxious, plenty of people LOVE that look. So it’s really more of do YOU think it’s cool.

    I’ve done it for emulators, but not physical games.

    I wouldn’t be surprised. I’m not against getting a PS5. I just don’t feel incentivized to get one if they’re doing dual releases for now. They did the same in the early days of the PS4. It was either dual releases, or “remastered” PS3 games where it ran in 1080P instead of 720P.

    A lot of negativity towards remakes are usually petty stuff. Once in awhile there’s an actual bad remake, but those are quite rare. Usually people get upset because either their meta way of playing was ruined, or any change ruined the entire game. Even if the change was incredibly minor and didn’t change the gameplay.

    I might finally buy one, though I haven’t bought one in general because of a lack of exclusives, and most of the games I want are got dual PS4 and PS5 releases.
