I've never played on one, and nor have I had the desire to do so. Even with emulators available, I haven't thought about trying one - Are there any exclusive titles for it that I'm particularly missing out on? 🤔

There's a fair bit of noise about this at the moment, and for good reason.. I'll not go into too much detail - the video(s) I'm going to link to do a much better job of it than I could. In essence, The Crew is an online-only game, despite it having a single player segment to it. Ubisoft recently closed the official servers for the game at the end of March 2024 rendering it completely unplayable. As if this wasn't bad enough, it's since come to light that Ubisoft have revoked all digital licenses for the game, likely in an attempt to "prevent the community" from creating their own servers and reviving the game. It's a dangerous precedent, and there's been a call to action from the gaming community as a whole; https://www.stopkillinggames.com/

For some reason I had the desire to play Lemmings, and the only version I have to hand is the PS3 version by Team17. Unfortunately it's not the best of versions to play.. you have to be much too accurate with placements, and it almost becomes a game of luck rather than skill.

How many of us managed to get the 10,000 kills in the original, and perhaps 100,000 kills in Gears of War 2? I'm sure the other titles must have had similar achievements, but I'm not familiar with them so I won't include them in the question. I only played through the first two titles, and out of those I preferred the first.. There's rumour that they may see a PlayStation release at some point - keeping my fingers crossed! I'd love to play them again.

The original grey Playstation.. My brother and I got it as a Christmas present back in 199...6? I think? - Fond memories, and of course we eventually got it chipped 😅 I've since re-purchased one, and had a PS-IO installed. Nifty.

I only saw the headline, and I can't remember the source so it could be complete nonsense - but it basically suggested that the Pro would be twice as powerful.. I'm not sure how exactly it could be a possibility, given that future game releases would still surely have to be compatible with the original PS5 hardware.. 🤔 In answer to the question though, probably not. I've hardly played my PS5.. I still have many PS4 games that I'd like to play through.

The original Resident Evil 2 release from 1998 is my favourite horror game, as well as being one of my favourite games of all time. The thing is a masterpiece. I've only very briefly played the recent remake, but I wasn't particularly impressed. I really should give it another try though..

I did have a really big (about 300+) collection of physical Xbox 360 games, and I sold the lot to buy an engagement ring.. Although honestly it was done to make more of a statement than anything. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the marriage didn't end up lasting. Now I have some 900+ digital games across PS3/PS4/PS5.. They take up much less physical space 🤭

I played the likes of Mortal Kombat II when I was about 10 or 11, and the original Grand Theft Auto at about 13 or so.. It didn't do me any harm. I think some of the media coverage linking violent crimes to videogames are using them as a bit of a scapegoat.

My partner would say that I'm a sore loser. I would call it being competitive.. 😅 Yeah, I'll admit that I could learn to lose better.

Licensing. It always has something to do with licensing. The last entry was pretty good from what I remember of it, though sadly it never saw a trophy patch for the PlayStation 3.

I met up with a few from the Official Xbox Community back in the day when I was an Xbox 360 gamer, way back when Play.com was a thing.. They ran a convention of sorts at Wembley Stadium, and I'd arranged to meet up with a few friends from the community. Good times.
