Thoughts on Blizzard games coming to steam?

I was reading today that games that you would normally find on Blizzard will soon be coming to Steam. 

So far only Overwatch 2 has been announced as coming to Steam but Blizzard has said that more will be coming soon to Steam.

What are your thoughts on Blizzard games coming to Steam and what games do you think we will see from Blizzard on Steam in time?

I love to hear it! I enjoy having my games on one platform and really dislike having them on the publisher's platform which basically never gives true reviews and such.  I might actually get OW2 up and running once this happens.

It is a lot better to have all your games on one platform as you stated, not only is it easier but it also means you need fewer applications on your PC for the said games as well. 

I wonder if this may increase the number of players that are playing Overwatch 2 now that it will be available on Steam. I know that there is a new season coming out in a few weeks I believe unless I am mistaken and a new map has been teased as well.

It would be a great time for them to push a marketing campaign to follow up a big update as it releases on Steam.  Although the game needs some love and balance fixes more than anything.

I agree, I feel they have a lot of work to do but with the upcoming update that is coming out on the 10th of August and then on the 15th of August, it would seem that changes are somewhat coming and we can only hope to see more as time goes on 🙂
