Netflix have kicked off their first public test of cloud-streamed games!

I have just been reading not too long ago how Netflix has finally started the first public test of their cloud-streamed games. At the moment it is only in testing and only available to some people but the fact they are doing their first test now shows they are serious about bringing cloud-based game streaming to gamers.ย

What are your thoughts on Netflix testing their cloud-streamed games service? Is it something you may be interested in when it releases fully?

I like the idea but it never works well.

I believe we have had a service like this in the past, but I can not remember who offered the service for the life of me. It never seemed to last long, but I am curious how this service goes with Netflix.

I tried Nvidia's cloud gaming thing and it does game. At around 360p and a 5 second input lag.

That is not too bad for a cloud service for gaming. Microsoft and Xbox also offer a cloud gaming service as well and as much as it is not perfect, it definitely is something that works well enough to play.ย
