Destiny 2 is disabling all crafted weapons to battle game-breaking bug

TL;DR: In Destiny 2, players discovered a bug that allowed them to equip unintended perks on legendary weapons, creating overpowered guns. Bungie initially allowed players to have fun with the glitch but will soon disable the ability to equip these crafted weapons while they work on a fix. The first fix will be deployed within the next 24 hours, with a second fix to address the bug itself. Bungie prioritizes the health of the game but acknowledged the unintentional mayhem caused by the bug. This is the second major bug in Destiny 2's Season of the Witch, with the first affecting the Iron Banner weekend. It is advised to take advantage of the bugged weapons now before they are fixed.

It’s a shame for Destiny players but necessary since it is causing a game-breaking bug. I hope they can get to the bottom of this as soon as possible and enable crafted weapons again.
