Do you think its simple or very difficult to create a video game?

Is video game creation something that interests you?

If you did make a video game, what would it be about?

My brother took a Game Design course in college and so did my eldest son. They both said that as much as it was fun and interesting, it was somewhat difficult as well and not something that people should look at as being an easy job or course to take.

I have always been interested in video game design and creating my own games but have never pushed to do it due to how things have gone in life.

I bought a book about it back in the 2000s.  However, I never really got into it like those coding in 24 hour books I had. Anyway, it was beyond my level at the time.

Many years ago, at the start of my teenage years when I was at school, in my computing lessons I did. We used a software known as scratch and created very basic 2D racing games. It was fun to make, but it wasn't even near professional standards.

Years ago, it's definitely difficult to create or develop video games. But now, even though it's stool difficult to develop games but some platform like Roblox have made it easier to create/develop some games. Personally, I'm not interested in doing anything of sort. It's not my things, so I'm staying out of it.
