If you noticed, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is missing from the list as a game collection of existing games is too easy of a choice.

As far as I'm concerned, Halo : Reach is the best of Bungie’s work on the Halo franchise. It's got the best graphics in all of the games, a great sense of movement, incredible campaign and powerful weapons upgrade. I also love how one's Spartan customization is designed in the game.

If I remember correctly, I thoroughly enjoyed Halo 2, but I haven't played Halo in a long while, so it's hard to compare the games based on a fuzzy memory.

Halo 2 isn't bad either. When it came out, it's still one of the best then. But I can't say same now looking at all that's been done on the franchise right up till this moment. Halo infinite is super cool to most gamers of the genre.

I've only played multiplayer for Halo Infinite and never bought the campaign due to lack of funds and the fact that I prefer Call of Duty over Halo. I'd love to give it a try one day if I ever will be able to again.

The original Halos now on the Master Chief Collection (1, 2, 3, and Reach) are very much worth the campaign playthrough.  4 and 5 took a strange route when 343 took over the series and a lot of fans feel like it wasn't very "Halo", although they are not terrible. Infinite recovered a lot on the story, but it is now a fairly discounted storyline and the open world side of the game really too away from the immersion for me.  It also sounds like a lot of the planned expansions for the story have been cancelled.

When it comes to my favourite Halo game I would have to without any second thought have to say Halo 3. I remember playing so much of this game and even playing through the campaign numerous times on different difficulties and really enjoyed the game. 

Multiplayer was a lot of fun with friends as well and I made a lot of good memories on that game.

3 was certainly my favorite as well.  Both in campaign and online play.  We used to play it non-stop and even had a few LAN-like events where we would all meet up and play as a team online.  Even the launch of the game was special as we went to a best buy for it and they would doing an in-house tournament for the game instead of a line.

There's nothing wrong with Call of Duty franchise at all. It's one of the best shooting games out there with great campaign on each release. I have played a lot of COD games, although it was Vanguard that I played last.
