Have you meet up in person with a gamer you met in an online video game?

Recommended Posts

One thing that's very common with playing online video games is that you can easily make friends from those kind of games. I have been playing Top Eleven Football Manager for 7 years and I've made a couple of good friends from the game. I have then gone to meet up with at least 6 of those gamers in person. It was a very good experience seeing and hanging out with them in real life.

Have you ever had this kind of experience with any of your online game's friends?

I met up with a few from the Official Xbox Community back in the day when I was an Xbox 360 gamer, way back when Play.com was a thing..

They ran a convention of sorts at Wembley Stadium, and I'd arranged to meet up with a few friends from the community. Good times.

I have met with a couple of people that I play games online. We have a WhatsApp group where a couple of us discuss the games, and it was easier to know who is in my city via the talks. Linking up with them was easier when they had a chance to see me.
