I'm an action fan! My daughter had a bunch of games where a story was involved, and I felt it just wasted so much time loading the screens. Get to playing is my opinion, because THAT is why I buy the games anyway.

When it comes to a multiplayer game, I am more for the action and also the fast-paced atmosphere as well but with a single-player or a story-based game I like to see a good story that keeps me hooked and interested.

With something like Fortnite though, not only does the action and the fast-paced game play keep me hooked, but they have a storyline as well which works really well.

I get you very well. If you wanted to watch a story, you would know the best movie to watch with a good story plot and not in your game. If there's ever going to be a story in a game, it should be simple and not a big load of stress and time wasting.

I think there has to be a balance. Too much action in a story game kinda defeats the purpose of the story but too much story and not enough action would be very boring and defeat the purpose of ‘playing a game’.

Exactly mu point! There's no way you would like a game that's just all long story. It's definitely going to be one hell of a boring video game to play. If it's just too much action, it's not going to make much sense.
