Legion Bulletin
From Dot Esports: TL;DR: Overwatch 2 has become one of the lowest-rated games on Steam, accumulating overwhelmingly negative reviews since its release. Blizzard is facing criticism for what some players perceive as a cash grab. The game's low rating on Steam is unexpected and disappointing for the developers. Shortie
I will admit, I am not shocked by the low ratings. I expected more from Overwatch 2 if I am honest with a lot of changes but we pretty much got a re-skin from the beginning when Overwatch 2 first released and after that, nothing. I believe with the latest update we are seeing a new map if I remember rightly but it could be too little too late now.

It seems like they revamped the store to sell more expensive skins and called it a new game. Definitely a solid way to kill off the fan base.

Definitely a solid way to kill off the fan base. Very true. I used to love the game myself and when they announced Overwatch 2 I was excited believing we would get a new game with new maps, better-looking heroes and possibly even a change to loot boxes being earned in the game and not needing to be purchased. I was put off when the game released and there was not many changes at all. So much they could have done.
