Desktop or Laptop For Gaming

Nomad

Recommended Posts

I play games on my laptop. I have a mid-range Dell gaming laptop (Dell G15). After using a laptop for more than 10 years, I am thinking of going back to a desktop, I am thinking of building a custom computer.

Do you like a desktop or laptop for gaming?

I frequently hear from pro gamers that no matter how much powerful a laptop you have, the level of experience you can get on a desktop computer while paying games is unmatched with laptop gaming experience. However, I am not sure about that as I do not have much experience playing games on Desktop computers.

When it comes to playing video games, a lot of the time I tend to play on my Xbox One X but if there is a game I can only play on PC, I do not mind playing it on either the desktop PC we have or the laptop if I would like a change of scenery as that is a little more portable than a desktop.

I have both a gaming laptop and a gaming desktop, but I prefer to use my desktop. It's newer and has better specs than my laptop does. My spouse can use our gaming laptop if we ever end up playing the same games together.

I have a gaming laptop and desktop setup too lol, I do enjoy playing on my desktop's big 34-inch monitor I will play games on my laptop when I am on the go.

I have a desktop. Neither of my laptops are gaming laptops, but I also didn't buy them for that purpose anyway.

I use mine a lot for client meetings when I go and show them the design I have made for their site. But it dose get used for gaming more then anything lol
