  1. Welcome to Uncrowned Gaming! We are just getting the community up and running and are glad to see you have joined! my questions, just let me know!
  2. With Seattle Surge and Paris Legion eliminated during day 1, day 2 lined up for two more teams to join them in the elimination pool as the day started off with two exciting elimination bracket matches. Afterwards the rematch Ultra vs Faze would be the highlight coming into the day and also the highlight event of the series so far with an epic showdown. If you thought day 1 was full of good matches, than prepare yourself for an even wilder day 2! Game 1 - London Royal Ravens vs Minnesota Røkkr 3-0 London Priestahh started the match trying to win that series all by himself and oh my did he come close with a 13 kill streak to get things going for Røkkr! But beyond the massive killstreak to start things off, it appeared that Minnesota may have invited London to watch over their practice as the London Royal Ravens simply seemed to have the best play call lined up for everything Minnesota threw at them. London took the 3-0 win and continues to impress and surprise as they continue their march though the elimination bracket. Game 2 - Los Angeles Guerrillas vs OpTic Chicago 3-1 Chicago Many fans were waiting for OpTic to come out and show that old championship style after a lackluster 2021 season so far, but it rapidly turned into hoping for signs of life from OpTic as LAG seemed to be doing everything right from the very beginning of the first game. OpTic would start to come alive during game 2 as they barely held off LAG to win out in S&D. However, OpTic would continue to turn things around and win out with a 3-1 series, but it was not the prettiest win. I didn't see a championship winning team in this match but OpTic now has some wins under them and will continue to move up in the elimination bracket. Game 3 - Atlanta FaZe vs Toronto Ultra 3-2 Atlanta If you hoped for a great rematch from last major’s championship, then you go your wish and more! An amazing lineup of epic games that all seemed to come down to the wire and each team played better than ever! Gunfights were near perfect in every game and I can only suggest that you go watch the VOD on this matchup if you missed it as you missed an amazing set of games. Faze seemed to be close to a 3-0 match win in a set of games that all could have gone either way when Ultra decided to step is up and tried to win with a reverse sweep of the series. Faze ended up pulling off an epic 5 win spree in S&D to end Ultra's push and seal their 3-2 match victory to send Ultra to the elimination bracket. Game 4 - Florida Mutineers vs New York Subliners 3-0 Florida Florida came into this game with a lot of motivation and head strong to redeem their poor start in the 2021 league, but NYSL must have been burning the overtime in their game plans and prep work as Florida never seemed to be able to get ahead of the NYSL strategy. Every game showed Florida having to improvise and react to a poor situation as NYSL just did everything right. The judges might want to make sure they weren't screen sniping in this match as it was not even close and Florida got sent to the elimination bracket. Tomorrow will bring us a new set of games to try and add even more to this event's epic matches so far as Minnesota and LAG pack their bags for their run in this tournament is over. Faze and NYSL seemed to play prefect games today but one will have to advance to the championship round tomorrow as we watch the elimination bracket grow even smaller. Tune in tomorrow for even more action!

  5. Today marked the first day of the 2021 Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major with two Elimination Bracket matches and two Winners Bracket matches to kick off the event. Both Elimination matches turned out to be quite exciting as 4 teams tried to advance in the Elimination bracket with Match 2 being an absolute thriller of a match full of some crazy games! The Winners Bracket would prove to be a stunner as not only did Faze show signs of their past glory, but Huke and the Thieves were ready to put up an amazing match against the Mutineers. Check out the round up of today’s matched below. Match 1 – Paris Legion vs London Royal Ravens 3-1 London The Royal Ravens came out fighting and winning their games in a fairly dominating match against the Legion to start things off at CoD’s Stage 3 Major. Legion worked to achieve many openings to flip the games in their favor, but could not pull off a comeback once London gained the lead and London ended up defeating the Legion with a solid showing. Match 2 – Seattle Surge vs Los Angeles Guerrillas 3-1 Los Angeles The 3-1 victory from the Guerrilas was earned by some of the best games of the day and we got to watch some wild strategies play out for both teams. Things went favorably for the Guerrillas until Surge’s Pestinni made what had to of been the ninja defuse of the major to lead Surge on a motivated spree to tie things up. Things continued to look like some of the best games of the tournament (although someone will challenge this later) until things came unraveled for Seattle in game 4 and LA came out of top. Match 3 – Dallas Empire vs Atlanta Faze 3-0 Atlanta Match 3 got off to a late start due to some technical delays in Match 2 but the rematch of the Major 1 final was worth the wait. Faze would start the first game like Empire forgot to show to the game, but in no time Empire would start digging in and turned it into what seemed the first of an amazing matchup even with their loss on that game. However, Faze was ready to prove the doubters wrong and seemed dominate as they pulled off a 3-0 sweep to send Empire to the Elimination Bracket. Match 4 – Los Angeles Thieves vs Florida Mutineers 3-1 Florida Thieves came out making some awkward team mistakes but rapidly turned things around to make the first game an epic showdown as they took the loss to the Mutineers. The mistakes would stop there and the follow up games would become the best of the day! The 3-1 match is certainly worth a rewatch as every game came down to the final plays and there was certainly no shortage of big moments. However, the Mutineers would come out on top and the Thieves will join Empire in the Elimination bracket. Tomorrow will be bring many exciting matches to the event including a rematch of last Major’s championship match with Faze vs Ultra! We can’t wait to see the action and excitement live tomorrow at 12 PM PST/3 PM EST as day 2 hopefully proves to be even more epic for all of our CoD Fans!

  11. The latest update provided by 343 Industries (Inside Infinite - April 2021) about the development of the upcoming Halo Infinite game has a heavy take on the PC gaming side and just about everything in the article is extremely promising news for the title. The update starts out with an absolute amazing screenshot of a Forerunner facility utilizing an ultrawide display and the team follows up that already exciting news with a detailed look of numerous aspect ratios and the benefits I have just how optimized the game is supposed to be for ultrawide displays on PC. On top of the ultrawide settings, the team also reveals some screenshots detailing the field of view settings and how much they can be increased on high powered PC's. I must admit that 120 FOV on a 32:9 display looks fantastic at this point. Additionally, to the surprise of many, the game is also optimized to run at a 4:3 aspect ratio if players are looking for the classic Halo franchise experience. Graphical settings for the PC version of the game got a sneak peek via a screenshot that show numerous settings and adjustments available to the players. These were also accompanied by very robust keymapping settings menu for multiple input devices. The team did not get into much detail on what settings will also be available on the Xbox version, but PC players will certainly be able to customize the game as they see fit. Cross platform multiplayer was also detailed in this update with the team stating that they are focusing on making the cross-platform experience as enjoyable as possible. Input based matchmaking seems to be the favor of both the players and the development team, and my personal preference for cross platform matchmaking, so that is an incredibly good sign as a PC player looking to play with their Xbox based friends. However, the update does have a little worrisome notation in it that states input based restrictions are for ranked matches. This is worrisome for me personally as I have yet to really find a game that perfectly balances controllers and mouse and keyboard users within the same lobby. Hopefully, the input-based restrictions will be for all multiplayer matches by the final release, beyond co-op modes. Older and less powerful PCs were also mentioned as the team noted that they have taken a significant effort in trying to balance gameplay between high spec PC's and low performance PC's during multiplayer. This was also followed up by some screenshots of the Halo Infinite world and Forerunner sites that look amazing. Halo news based YouTuber HiddenXperia has pointed out that these screenshots do contain graphical problems such as units clipping into walls, so hopefully he is correct in the assumption that these issues will be fixed by the full release of the game. Otherwise, the team has listed the currently planned platforms the game will launch on being Steam, Xbox Store on PC, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and of course through the Xbox Store or in a box on the shelf for the console version.

  17. The founder of inXile Entertainment and director of the Wastelands series, Brian Fargo, teased on Twitter some details of the first DLC for Wastelands 3 and that the game will have two total DLC expansions. He also stated that smaller additions will continue to be added to the game alongside the DLC expansions. The first DLC, The Battle of Steeltown, will focus on a new area that supplies the Wasteland with guns and vehicles but appears to be having trouble as of late. While details were very limited beyond the overall goal seemingly being to solve some sort of problem in this new area, the trailer had a heavy focus on combat and some new mech style enemies. June 3rd is the release date for the new DLC and we are excited to see what the content will bring! Hopefully with only two DLC being planned, both will bring a large amount of content to the game. No prices were listed, but all platforms were listed in the trailer with the same June 3rd release date. You can view the trailer below!

View full article

  20. Leaker Tom Henderson has been pushing out numerous leaks and rumors about the upcoming Battlefield 6 title as of late and most recently has touched on last gen consoles and Game Pass. Tom has been a noteworthy and reliable leaker of the Battlefield series, but we must always add that these items are not official or confirmed in any manner. Starting with the leaks about last generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), Tom stated in a Tweet that the developers do not seem to have any plan to push for launching the title on older systems and will focus entirely on Next Gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series S/X. Granted his leak is focused on the lack of information and seems to touch on how Call of Duty pushing to include last gen consoles is making the development tough, so these are far from concrete leaks. The leaker also listed the new game as being an Xbox Game Pass game and releasing on the subscription service day 1. He fails to back this up with any reasoning or evidence, but with the recent partnership between EA Play and Game Pass seemingly going well and EA needing a way to break the hold that Call of Duty has on the military FPS market it is a entirely possibility. Granted, this will not be a land slide win for the Battlefield series as even on Game Pass, it will have to complete with the hype giant that will be launching also be launching on day 1, Halo Infinite. For those a bit confused by the EA Play and Game Pass partnership, Xbox Game Pass now includes EA Play games on both console and PC. However, this is only regular EA Play games and new EA games are only available on their EA Play Premiere service or by simply purchasing the game for around the first six months. Overall, these leaks appear to be entirely practicable and reasonable directions for Battlefield 6, but we just do not have any evidence to back them up. Hopefully, earlier leaks hold true, and we should be getting a teaser trailer in the coming month or two.

  24. While official details about EA’s Battlefield 6 are extremely limited and mostly non-existent, the past few days have seen numerous “leaks” and rumors flooding reddit and other sources via insiders (or at least people claiming to be insiders). These rumors seem to indicate that Battlefield 6 will not even be called Battlefield 6 and will likely just have the name Battlefield along with a strong focus on a Battle Royale mode. The rumors about the Battle Royale mode are all very practical as they state the mode will support up to 128 players while also enabling Battlefield’s destructive environments to separate it from other Battle Royale games. This is certainly a reasonable rumor as it would be highly unlikely that Battlefield would not feature their destructive environment as it is such a focused game feature and marketing value of their Frostbite engine. The game will also have its normal core gameplay modes although previous rumors have stated that Dice, the developer of the game, is aiming to make some changes to the format and create a multiplayer full of game modes featuring very realistic warfare situations. However additional rumors have surfaced that the new battlefield game may allow players to utilize older Battlefield games within their matchmaking and game/map rotations. Some rumors have gone as far as saying that the new Battlefield game is not even a standalone game and is more of a service that will focus on bringing all past and future battlefields together. Although most rumors seem to indicate that it will be a full game that also provides features that include other Battlefield games. Not much is known about the campaign or the game setting itself however many have stated that it appears the title will be set in the near future and offer some futuristic weapons and tech for players to use. We must emphasize that these are currently all rumors and mostly unsupported leaks. So, some or even all the information may be incorrect or even change before the game is released. On a good note, it does appear that a reveal trailer is well into production (if not completed already) and we may be getting an official announcement as early as May to highlight some of the details of the game.
